Clinical Social Worker/Therapist
“Life is so beautiful. Life is so hard.”
-Kate Bowler
We all struggle and knowing where to turn for support can be hard. Research shows that a safe, accepting, and collaborative relationship provides a foundation for lasting, meaningful change. I am deeply committed to fostering genuine connections, self-compassion, healing, and growth in individuals navigating life’s challenges. My approach is grounded in humanistic and experiential frameworks, recognizing the uniqueness and resilience of each person’s journey and innate inner wisdom that we each possess. I offer a therapeutic environment that is empathetic and non-judgmental in which you can freely express yourself and explore your thoughts, emotions, and stories in a safe and supportive space. It is through a process of self-exploration and genuine connection that we can gain insights and tools that help us to discover and love ourselves, let go, grieve, heal, grow, and transform.
Clinical social work is my second career. In my first career, I conducted research studies to improve supportive services for survivors of human trafficking, child maltreatment, and intimate partner violence, and programs offered by specialized courts and reentry programs. This experience informs my approach as a therapist, including my commitment to using therapeutic approaches rooted in proven effectiveness and centering each client’s unique experience and needs.
I invite you to be in touch for a free initial 15-20 minute consultation if you would like to explore whether I might be a good fit for you. I am inclusive and affirming of all people regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender expression, and socioeconomic and marital status.
